Maintenance Events Overview
The Maintenance Event option on the SWIFT Portal now provides information for users when the SWIM systems and services are down or scheduled to go down for maintenance. Users can opt-in to receive notifications through email or the SWIFT Portal for both planned and unplanned maintenance events.
*Maintenance Event notification Subscriptions are different from data product subscriptions*
How to Sign-up for Maintenance Events
Users will need to navigate to the SWIFT Portal Homepage SWIFT Portal - Home (faa.gov). then select the Maintenance option on the left.
Once the Maintenance page opens, navigate to the Notifications tab and select the Configure option on the right-side of the page.
The Configure option will change to a green +New Subscription, which the user will need to select for signing up for the Maintenance Event Notifications.
A New Notification Subscription screen will pop up where the user will select the Service, System, Site, and Notification Type for a specific notification.
After clicking Create, the New Notification Subscription will be added to your notifications feed on the SWIFT Portal.
